Since its establishment in 2002, PMA Handweaves has carved a niche for itself in the market. We manufacture and export silk fabrics, cotton fabrics, hand woven/printed made-ups, pre-dominantly stoles that are crafted from union silk, cotton, linen, wool and their blends.

We take pride in introducing ourselves as the recipient of Outstanding Export Performance Award instituted by the Indian Silk Export Promotion Council. We have won this award for six consecutive years from 2002-03, which is a testimony of our performance and standing in the international market.

PMA Handweaves is a government recognised export house, registered with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. Besides this, the organisation is member of WBSEPS, since 2003-04 and has lately obtained Entrepreneurs Memorandum (Part I) Number 19/010/11/00245 of D.I.C, Krishnanagar, Nadia, Govt. of West Bengal.

We have registered an exponential growth marked by excellent export performance, which has increased over the years and stood at USD 1.25 Million in 2007-08. Mr. Subimal Bera, who is at present the Managing Director of the company, is the man behind PMA Handweaves. Mr. Bera is a graduate handloom technologist from Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Varanasi. Having a rich experience and wide exposure of almost 25 years in production and marketing of hand-woven and allied fabrics, he is the man with a vision to bring excellence in quality and services meeting 99.9% on time delivery.
